Crypto is, in general, welcoming to newcomers that are proactive and engaged prior to having a guaranteed paid role. It may seem contradictory, but a good approach is to browse communities and projects aligned with what you believe in and then start contributing freely. With this, you will build a reputation and increase your experience.

🌟 you can shine right from the start

Your CV will not be checked as much as your Twitter account, which crypto uses like water in the desert. Start by creating a Twitter account, where you post as if it were a combination of a social profile with LinkedIn. Suggestions:

Discord

Create a dedicated Discord account for crypto.

Use a new Gmail account and then a pseudonym while on Discord. We never know who will be on the other side of the computer, so it is best to be cautious at all times.

You'll eventually also need to create a digital wallet, GitHub account, etc. Don't worry about that too soon (:

🏹 your goals

Crypto can vary from igniting curiosity to deepening your studies, and who knows? Maybe you'll eventually want to have a full-time crypto job. Until then, get involved in community events, be active and focused, meet people, and tell everyone what you are looking for.

These spaces are hungry for founders who can build for real use cases. Keep an eye open for good people and good teams. During your search, consider what is the best you can contribute.

You can also want to work for someone else, and for that, you should have a strong experience background and a sense of making it happen no matter what. Remember: nobody can understand every aspect of crypto; there's something out there you can contribute with.
